FR is a flame retardant material with a high heat deflection temperature that has a UL94 V-0 flammability rating at 2.0mm.
Comparable to Loctite 3955, which has a UL94 V-0 flammability rating at 3.0mm. FR is much easier to handle than 3955 because it does not need to be heated up to use, is not solid at room temperatures, and is easier to print and post process.
FR does require a three step post cure process though: initial post cure, secondary UV post cure, and then heat treatment. We do not have a UL Blue Card or official certification documentation. After discussions with some customers, we learned that certification is typically done on the final product, not on the material.
Product components with flame retardant requirements, such as brackets, baffles, circuit board housings, etc. High performance at high temperatures in consumer goods, transportation and aerospace, precision electronics, micromechanics and other fields.
