Meltio Horizon is a proprietary toolpath generator software for 3-axis metal 3D printing, tailored specifically to our laser-wire deposition process with the Meltio M600 metal 3D printer.
Simpler profile selection and premade profiles that cover a large range of geometries and qualities. Churn out great-looking parts faster without compromising surface finish.
Build plates can be defined by the user and stored as presets. The machine workspace adjusts automatically.
Remove the unnecessary material between infill lines and reduce overbuilding, thanks to the option to unlink infill sections.
Make porous structures that can serve as heat exchangers and explore previously untapped possibilities thanks to the new Gyroid lattice infill option.
Not only improve the definition of overhangs, but it also allows to push the system further than before, thanks to independent settings for the perimeters.
Made to measure for Meltio’s LMD process and Materials. Complete solution delivered with material parameters.
Only relevant settings are available. Meltio Specific Explainers for all settings to make getting started much easier.
Incorporating more than just toolpath generation. It combines the print and material profiles into a single job file for more control over the printing process.
Building a dedicated platform for toolpath generation specific to Meltio allows us to expand our scope of service in the future.
Configure your gas source and cost directly within Meltio Horizon. Flow rates are defined within each material.
Make full use of Meltio Hotwire features directly from the slicer and configure different sections of the build for quality and speed.
Meltio Horizon is a proprietary slicer that ensures a fully tailored customer experience around our plug-and-play metal 3D printer, the Meltio M450 with its own unique features and custom-developed Meltio print and material profiles included.

Turn geometries into layers with different strategies for toolpathing and deposition of material.
Generates a single g-code file that combines toolpath and build parameters, making it impossible to mix up toolpaths and material files and ensuring standardization across machines.
Printing process fully controlled by the Meltio M600 user interface and process control software.
Disconnecting infill lines reduces overbuilding and waviness towards the perimeters of parts and ensures extra flat layers.
Independently control all deposition parameters, such as speed, laser power, hotwire current, and more on a per-feature basis.
Using dedicated settings for each feature improves the overhang quality, bonding between infill and perimeter and allows for faster printing without degrading the surface quality.
Using a Hotwire Process for the infill sections of parts printed with Meltio Horizon it is possible to create visually identical parts with much reduced print times.
New Infill strategy for Gyroid Lattice infill can generate parts with defined open cell porosity. Applications include cooling, heat exchangers, and lightweight applications.
The Joint between Perimeter and infill is a critical area that is particularly prone to porosity. This Porosity is typically not reflected in materials testing as samples are taken from the bulk area. Creating a dedicated joining process alleviates this issue.
